HTA Welcomes New Northern Ireland Board Member

The Human Tissue Authority (HTA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicole Lappin as a new Board member, selected by the Department of Health in Northern Ireland.

Lynne Berry CBE, Chair of the HTA, commented:

"I am thrilled to welcome Nicole Lappin to the HTA Board. She brings exceptional expertise and a wealth of experience in public sector leadership that will prove invaluable as we navigate the evolving landscape of human tissue regulation. Her background in chairing multiple public sector boards, combined with her regulatory experience as former Chief Charity Commissioner for Northern Ireland will strengthen our commitment to ensuring the safe, ethical use of human tissue.

"I'm looking forward to working with Nicole as she joins our current Board Members. I know she'll find a dedicated and supportive team at the HTA, and her perspective will enrich our collective decision-making as we continue to uphold the highest standards in human tissue regulation."
