HTA publishes Business Plan for 2025-2026
Today we’ve published our Business Plan for 2025/26.
In an environment of ongoing change and multiple technical advances, we aim to be an excellent, modern and accountable regulator dealing proportionately with the sectors we oversee, whilst preparing for future regulatory challenges, which is reflected in this year’s Business Plan.
Our plan represents year two of our three-year Strategy, and is built on our four strategic themes: our approach to regulation; building public trust and confidence; the use of data and information; and being an efficient and effective public body.
For 25/26 we will be guided by these themes to fulfil our role efficiently and effectively and we commit to working with government to contribute savings in-year.
During the year, we will:
• Maintain flexibility in resource allocation
• Respond quickly to environmental changes
• Adjust the Business Plan throughout the year if appropriate
• Make decisive decisions to start, pause, stop or change work as necessary.
We have set an ambitious agenda and we commit to working collaborating with our partners to achieve these goals.
