HTA publishes operational data

Today we are publishing data about licences, inspections and enquiries. This data covers activity from 1 April 2024 to 30 Sep 2024.

There are currently 639 active licences across the six sectors regulated by the Human Tissue Authority. The research sector has the highest number of licences, for removal and storage of tissue from the living and deceased in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
