Transplant Manager (fixed term contract or secondment)
The Human Tissue Authority is the national independent regulator for organisations that remove, store and use human tissue for research, medical treatment, post-mortem examination, teaching and display in public. We also assess applications for organ and bone marrow donation from living people.

As our Transplant Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the HTA’s assessment process for living organ and bone marrow donation across the UK.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills will be essential, as you will be responsible for ensuring you and your team provide the highest quality advice and guidance to the public, professionals as well as internal and external stakeholders including the Department of Health and Social Care.
There will also be the opportunity to support on emerging policy issues related to transplantation and living donation.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the operational management of a regulatory function as well as experience in leading a team. Knowledge of transplantation or living donation policy and processes would be advantageous.
This can be either a 12 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity, covering a period of maternity leave.
The successful candidate does need to be available to start immediately.
