Stakeholder Engagement Manager
The Human Tissue Authority (HTA) is the national regulator for organisations that remove, store and use tissue for research, patient treatment, post-mortem examination, teaching and display in public. We also give approval for organ and bone marrow donations from living people. With the interests of the public and those we regulate at the centre of our work, we aim to maintain confidence by ensuring that human tissue is used safely and ethically, and with proper consent.
We are currently seeking a dynamic Stakeholder Engagement Manager to drive a wide range of engagement activities. As a self motivated individual you will have a creative approach to developing and planning tailored campaigns that involve and engage members of the public and professionals. In addition you will assist the HTA’s Strategy and Quality team in strengthening HTA horizon scanning arrangements to allow for better use of data and intelligence for strategic business planning.
There will be close working with colleagues across the HTA requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly establish yourself quickly in the role. Therefore a flair for building relationships and the confidence to influence at a senior level is essential. You will also have experience in analysing complex data, as well as the ability to translate information to deliver clear briefings.
The successful candidate will have a common sense approach to prioritising conflicting tasks and not be phased by managing a demanding workload. This will be essential so that you are able to successfully lead day-to-day activity alongside supporting longer term policy and quality improvement projects.
