The Human Tissue Authority is the national regulator of organisations that remove, store and use human tissue for research, medical treatment, post-mortem examination, teaching and display in public, plus organ donation and transplantation. We also give approval for organ and bone marrow donations from living people. With the interests of the public and those we regulate at the centre of our work, we aim to maintain confidence by ensuring that human tissue is used safely and ethically, and with proper consent. 

As a Regulation Officer within our busy Regulatory Operations Team you will perform a broad range of activities to support the delivery of our licensing processes across our Regulation Directorate, whilst also working closely with colleagues across the HTA. .

Your exceptional organisation skills will allow you to prioritise competing deadlines while still maintaining exceptional attention to detail even when assimilating complex information. With a focus on data management, plus system and process improvement, you will proactively contribute to the enhancement of our data tracking systems while also assisting the team in meeting compliance requirements in this area. 

Project management experience will be advantageous, as is a proactive nature in solving problems. A clear and concise communication style, the ability to build excellent working relationships at all levels and a commitment to providing the best quality of service will be essential to your success in this position.
