The Human Tissue Authority is the national regulator of organisations that remove, store and use human tissue for research, medical treatment, post-mortem examination, teaching and display in public, plus organ donation and transplantation. We also give approval for organ and bone marrow donations from living people. With the interests of the public and those we regulate at the centre of our work, we aim to maintain confidence by ensuring that human tissue is used safely and ethically, and with proper consent. 

As our Living Donation Officer you will perform a broad range of activities to support the management and coordination of our assessment process for living organ and bone marrow donation across the UK. 

Your exceptional organisation skills will allow you to prioritise competing demands while still maintaining excellent attention to detail even when assimilating complex information. As you will be responsible for managing individual projects, project management experience will be advantageous while a proactive nature will see you ask the right questions and solve any concerns as they arise.

A clear, confident and concise communication style with the ability to build excellent working relationships at all levels will be essential to your success in this position as you will support advisory groups, deliver presentations and be the first point of contact for a diverse range of enquiries.
