More and more people are accessing the information, advice and guidance that the HTA provides through our website. In 2014 we invested in a newly designed website as part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the quality and accessibility and transparency of the information we provide.

As part of National Transplant Week, the HTA has published a guide to consent and organ donation, which has been developed in collaboration with NHS Blood and Transplant.
HTA welcomed the ‘sensitive and realistic accounts’ of body donation shown in the Channel 5 series ‘Body Donors’, broadcast at 9pm on the 29 Sep and 6 October 2015.
This Code was passed by Parliament in November 2015 and the HTA published the Code on 1 December here.
There is still time to respond to the HTA’s Codes of Practice and Standards consultation. The consultation, which has been open for seven weeks, closes on the 31 October.
The HTA is looking for five new board members. Applications are welcome from those who meet the requirements of the person specification and have an interest in the work of the HTA.
