Portal Downtime Notice

Due to a planned upgrade, the HTA Portal will be unavailable from 5:00pm on Friday 5 June until 10:00am on Monday 8 June 2026.

As previously advised, the HTA Portal is currently unavailable. As a result, no new IA or AA forms can be submitted until it becomes available again on Monday.

Our emergency out-of-hours line remains available: 0207 269 1991. This must only be used where there is a clinical need for an emergency transplant outside the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Human Application and Organ Donation & Transplantation Serious Adverse Events and Reactions (SAEARs)

Any SAEARs arising while the Portal is offline should be reported to the HTA as soon as possible on Monday 8 June.

Human Tissue Authority Reportable Incidents (HTARIs) in the Post Mortem and Anatomy sectors

Any incident identified for reporting to the HTA while the Portal is unavailable should be reported as soon as possible on Monday 8 June.
