We are looking to recruit a Public Engagement Officer who will take the lead on developing content for our website to ensure the HTA is providing up to date, accessible and clear information for the public.
You will work with people from across the organisation to develop and implement our public engagement and involvement strategy and plans with the aim to increase the HTA’s involvement of the public in it’s work. This will include organising and implementing reviews of the HTA’s work, online and offline; monitoring public sentiment; advising colleagues on how to better reach and involve the public in our work; and promoting public involvement.
Exemplary writing and editorial skills are essential for this role, which involves producing a number of online and hard copy publications, ranging from the HTA’s public e-newsletter to our Annual Review publication. It would be desirable, though not essential, for the successful candidate to have experience of using graphic design software (such as Adobe InDesign, or similar).
