This consultation workshop was open to members of the public and those attending on behalf of organisations representing the public or patient groups.
The event focused on code A - Principles and consent.
Codes of Practice and Standards Review
The HTA has undertaken a fundamental review of its codes of practice and standards. After consulting on the revised codes and standards from 1 September to 30 October 2015, the published codes and standards are available here and they have undergone a major review in April 2017.
These consultation workshops gave attendees an opportunity to ask HTA staff about the content of the codes and clarify their understanding of the revised codes and standards. The workshops also gave attendees the chance to discuss the codes and standards with other professionals.
If I attend the workshop, do I still need to submit a response to the consultation?
Any major questions and/or concerns raised through these workshops was noted and we encouraged all attendees to use the workshops as information sessions, and to submit a written response to the consultation.
Do I have to select which workshops I would like to attend?
Those who did not select which workshops they wished to attend, would not have been registered to attend any.
