Human Tissue Authority

The regulator for human tissue and organs

Find an establishment

The HTA licenses more than 800 organisations across six sectors. You can search for organisations licensed by the HTA below. Licensed organisations must meet the standards set by the HTA. In order to ensure this happens, every organisation must nominate a person who will supervise the activities for which they are licensed, known as a Designated Individual (DI). We then inspect establishments to meet with staff, view premises and facilities, and review policies and procedures. After every site visit inspection, we write a report documenting our findings. All inspection reports written after 2011 are published on the individual establishment’s main page which can be found by clicking on the name of the establishment below. More information about the HTA’s inspection process can be found here.
