Search tips

Here you will find tips on using the HTA search feature.

Simple search

To perform a simple search, type a word or phrase in the search box and click ‘search’. A list of pages that match your desired criteria will be presented to you on screen. If you spell a word incorrectly, the search will ask you whether you meant to search for the correctly spelt word.

Advanced search

To limit the search, select a particular section or sections of the website from the options boxes, or select a particular sector. 

Please note the following:

• the search engine ignores cases of letters
• very small words such as ‘an’ are ignored (to keep the search engine fast)
