Paired donation
The couple involved in the second paired kidney transplant will meet soon, as reported on Channel 4 News.

Altruistic donation
The HTA also held a press conference on 14 December where Barbara Ryder an altruistic kidney donor met her recipient Andy Louden. See a summary of the media coverage.
November 2007
The couple involved in the UK's second paired exchange of kidneys have spoken publicly - this was covered in the Sunday Times on 25 November 2007.
October 2007
The UK’s first paired exchange of kidneys between unrelated donor / recipient couples was announced on 4 October. See link for further information:
