Regulators come together to share information.

The Human Tissue Authority, Care Quality Commission and Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority are working together to deliver regulation more effectively while ensuring that safety and quality of service are maintained. 

One aspect of this work is to increase the information we share about the organisations where we each have regulatory responsibilities, making our inspection processes more efficient and minimising the need for duplicated information requests.

We are currently developing memoranda of understanding and information sharing agreements, and these will be published on our respective websites once signed by each organisation’s Chief Executive.
