The HTA launches consultation on the Documentary Framework for the Quality and Safety of Human Organs Intended for Transplantation

The HTA has launched a consultation on the draft Documentary Framework for the Quality and Safety of Human Organs Intended for Transplantation.

The Framework will explain to establishments how to fulfill the new regulatory requirements and contains detailed information on the mandatory regulatory requirements as well as guidance on how those requirements may be met.

The HTA consultation is running in parallel with the Department of Health’s consultation on the Regulations. Both consultations have been sent directly to transplant centres, Independent Assessors and a number of other interested/relevant stakeholders, as well as being published on the HTA website. The consultation will run until Wednesday 21 December.
