Fees and Payments

This page provides details of the HTA's licence fees for 2011/12.

Following consultation, fees for 2011/12 have been agreed. Read more about the fees and explanatory notes on our website.

 *  A Human application licence may cover storage for a Scheduled Purpose, if requested, under the Human Tissue Act.

Invoices

For existing licensed establishments invoices for the 2011/12 period will be issued as follows:

  • Human application establishments – April (at the latest  May)
  • Procurement organisations – July (at the latest August)
  • Anatomy, research, post mortem and public display establishments – September

New establishments will be invoiced for their annual fees at these times or if that month has passed, when the licence is formally granted after acceptance by the establishment. From 2011/12 we charge an application fee to assess new licence applications and this will be invoiced on receipt of the application.

How to pay licence fees

Licence fees can be paid by BACS or by cheque.  Detailed payment instructions are included on the invoice.  Please note that fees are non-refundable.
