Fees and Payments

This page provides details of the HTA's licence fees for 2013/14.

Due to efficiencies we have made, licence fees reduce again this year.

Licence fee structure 2013/14

* A Tissue and cells for patient treatment (Human application) licence may cover storage for a Scheduled Purpose, if requested, under the Human Tissue Act.

** Storage of tissues and cells for Tissue and cells for patient treatment (Human application) under the Human Tissue (Quality & Safety for Human Application) Regulations 2007.

Invoices

For existing licensed establishments invoices for the 2013/14 period will be issued as follows:

  • Tissue and cells for patient treatment (Human application) establishments – April and all other sectors in September.

New establishments will be invoiced for their annual fees at these times or if that month has passed, when the licence is formally granted after acceptance by the establishment. In 2011/12 we introduced an application fee to assess new licence applications and this will be invoiced on receipt of the application.

How to pay licence fees

Licence fees can be paid by BACS or by cheque. Detailed payment instructions are included on the invoice. Please note that fees are non-refundable.
