Licensing
This section provides information about the licensing requirements under the Human Tissue Act.
The HTA regulates the storage, removal, use and disposal of human bodies, organs and tissue for a number of Scheduled Purposes set out within the Human Tissue Act 2004. The HT Act stipulates that certain activities can only be carried out under the authority of a licence granted by the HTA.
