This page details the HTA's finance and administration.
The Human Tissue Authority receives funding from two sources: (82%) from licence fees with the balance (18%) coming from our sponsors the Department of Health (DH).
The activities funded by licence fee income range from licensing to advice and guidance. Please refer to the Explanatory notes – Licence fee for 2011/12.
We place great importance on ensuring that our finances are managed efficiently, effectively and risk-free. We are mindful that it is public funds and therefore; strive to ensure value for money.
