The HTA provided written evidence to the Joint Committee on the Draft Care and Support Bill. This Bill contains clauses that would abolish the HTA. The HTA’s submission focuses on the risks associated with abolishing the HTA and transferring its functions elsewhere and the benefits of retaining the HTA as a specialist regulator.
