Regulation Manager

The Human Tissue Authority (HTA) is an independent statutory regulator, committed to the principles of Better Regulation. Our remit is to regulate whole body donation and the removal, storage and use of human organs and tissue. We aim to create a framework for these activities in which the public and professionals have confidence.

As a Regulation Manager at the HTA you will contribute to the high performance of our regulatory function, actively leading inspections and investigations and making evidence-based licensing decisions. In addition to giving advice and guidance to individuals and groups, you will lead or contribute to projects and the development and implementation of regulatory policy. Ability to lead inspections and investigations - and make associated licensing decisions - must be supported by excellent communication and presentation skills. You will also know how to manage resources, analyse complex information and identify key issues.

Facilities & Projects Officer

£30K - £33K per annum + benefits 
Central London

The HTA regulates the storage and use of human tissue, including organ and bone marrow donations

Providing Facilities and Health & Safety services for the entire organisation, you’ll also assist with special projects. Working closely with the Head of Business Technology, your responsibilities will range from overseeing office services and supplier contracts to supporting IT projects. With good English and Maths, and preferably IOSH qualification, you’re experienced in Health & Safety requirements as well as providing office facilities and IT services. Project management experience would also be preferred and you must be flexible. The position comes with a great rewards package and provides opportunities to make a real contribution to a vibrant organisation.
