Regulation Manager

£34k-41k per annum  
Based in Central London

The Human Tissue Authority (HTA) is an independent statutory regulator, committed to the principles of Better Regulation. Our remit is to regulate whole body donation and the removal, storage and use of human organs and tissue. We aim to create a framework for these activities in which the public and professionals have confidence.

We can offer you an exceptional opportunity to work at the cutting edge of modern regulation in a unique and forward-thinking organisation. As a member of the Regulation Directorate, you will implement and manage systems and processes to ensure that our regulated sectors comply with the requirements of the Human Tissue Act 2004 and the Human Tissue (Quality and Safety for Human Application) Regulations 2007. This will include making licensing decisions and leading inspections of establishments across the HTA licensed sectors.

A comprehensive training programme will equip you with the skills to lead inspections effectively and make robust, evidence-based licensing decisions.  All you need bring us is knowledge and understanding of one or more of our licensed sectors, or a science background, preferably with some experience in accreditation, audit or inspection and project management. 

If you enjoy providing advice and guidance to people, you are quick thinking, able to analyse complex information and have excellent communication and report writing skills, we would like to hear from you.
